We are UK/European brand business company and are looking for a Quality Manager for electrical, toys and hardlines categories including electrical appliances, solar light, LED light chain, furniture, toys, cookware, houseware and home decoration, etc. This person will lead a team of QC supervisor and several QA technologists in Hong Kong, and two teams of inspectors in China.

Key responsibilities include:-

·Supervise QA and QC department, and report to top management

·Ensure that products and services meet customer standards

·Communicate with internal merchandising teams and customers on relevant quality and safety issues

·Train internal QA technologists and QCs to meet the company requirement

·To monitor and coordinate with external service providers, such as lab testing and inspection, to ensure delivered services in terms of quality and prices are in competitive level

·To promote both short term and long term career development for the team

Requirements

·Degree holder in Engineering or science. Diploma holder with more solid experience will be also considered.

·At least 7 years of working experience in quality of handling a wide range of product categories, including general electrical appliances, furniture, toys, and /or hardline products, etc.

·Good knowledge of BS/EN safety requirements and quality standards.

·Previous experience in handling UK/European market, especially from trading or buying office, is highly preferable.

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills - fluency in English and Chinese is essential.

·High integrity and reliable. Able to work under pressure.

·Travel to China (not frequent) on request
