Senior Field Service Engineer

POSITION OVERVIEW

This challenging position is part of the Supply Chain team of 8 persons, located in Hongkong. Besides your activities on customer sites, you are part of the regular team meetings where your input about the equipment at customers site is valuable for the design teams. You will travel approx. 1 week per month.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ÿ Optimize line yield by process improvements

Ÿ Support assembly sites in problem solving after customer release. Assist suppliers in technical trouble shooting during serial production

Ÿ Actively provide support in product development stage by giving constructive advice to the product team to facilitate the design process

Ÿ Execute prototype building and testing of equipment, modules or improvements of existing equipment

Ÿ Validate the products in accordance with the design, customers’ requirements and the reliability during product release stage

Ÿ In charge Beta-test at customer site and responsible for resolving technical problems during production ramp-up.

Ÿ Responsible for training and acceptance of new equipment at the customers

YOUR PROFILE

Ÿ MSc/BSc in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering

Ÿ Solid experience on high precision assembly equipment, experience in Auto Optical Inspection will be an advantage

Ÿ Profound knowledge of applications or technology related to mechatronic or electronic equipment

Ÿ More than 5 years’ experience in semiconductors / electronic manufacturing industry

Ÿ Strong problem-solving and organizing skills

Ÿ Good interpersonal skills and able to deliver results through determination and team-work

Ÿ Good communication skills with fluency in English and Mandarin

Ÿ Mature, customer-service oriented and able to work independently

Ÿ Willing to travel frequently
