RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Manages active projects in development through all phases and processes
• Collaborates with Product Development and external Design team members in order to develop strategic list of new department projects
• Presents scope and schedule of approved projects to internal teams as well as to cross departmental partners. Represent team when presenting solutions to stake holders and negotiates deadlines based on changing work flow
• Manages project plan template and maintains department reports and dashboards in order to communicate project timeline status
• Manages additional administrative tasks within the department

REQUIREMENTS:  

• Bachelors in Project Management or related field; or at least 2 years’ experience as a Project Manager in a corporate environment or equivalent education/experience. PMP certification preferred
• Must have experience in product development and manufacturing of electronics or similar industry
• Proficient in Project Management Software and Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Must be skilled in capacity analysis, and resource utilization. This skill set is to provide finite logic and to prioritize projects for the department
• Ability to adapt to changes in prioritization or schedules of items in the work queue as necessary when communicated or noted
• Excellent organization skills, with an ability to multitask and prioritize projects based on tight deadlines
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
