Job Description
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years practical experience in Event Management within the MICE industry
- DMC/Inbound Travel coordination experience
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory
- Fluent Cantonese required
- Ability to manage multiple programs and projects simultaneously
- Strong destination management operational skills are required
- Previous experience working with the US/UK/Australian market preferred
- Financial acumen
- Well-organised, independent, self-motivated and customer-orientated
- Demonstrated initiative, ability to work within a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards required
Key Responsibilities:
- Program / Account Management and execution of groups and events for inbound overseas clients
- Responsible for sourcing and liaising with suppliers including but not exclusively hotels, transport, venues, incentive activities etc.
- Manage on-site services and resources to deliver client and company expectations
- Budget management and reconciliation
- Participate in the business development program including site inspections, familiarisation visits and educational programmes
- Research and develop new products and update existing products and services
- Manage and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers as well as with business partners
- Manage and maintain excellent relationships with key client accounts.
