The Role

JIA Group, an awarded hospitality firm with an international venue portfolio is searching for a Bartender to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting your guests need to ensure they leave happier than when they first came in. You will have a friendly, engaging and warm personality – you enjoy chatting with regulars, while attracting new customers and making them feel at home.

A day in the life:

• Report directly to the Bar Supervisor or Bar Manager as well as Venue General Manager
• Follow the systems set out by the Group Bar Manager, including recipes and cleaning checklists
• Learn the venue’s complete beverage offering including cocktails, wine and beer
• Learn the venue’s food offering, floor plan and standard operating procedures
• Work with the other members of the team to create a seamless guest experience
• Assist in stock ordering and monthly stock take

The ideal person will:

• Have a genuine passion for food, beverage and the hospitality industry
• Be eager to learn, and take pride in their work, paying attention to the tiniest of details knowing these contribute to a successful bigger picture
• Have proven bar experience in a pub, bar or nightclub
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
• Speak fluent English
• Hold a mature, focused and positive mind-set that is guest orientated
