We are searching for a young, committed, proactive Wine Bar Assistant Manager who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The Wine Bar Assistant Manager will promote and grow the business, ensure that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. You will also manage inventory and resources, plan promotional events, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed, create schedules, and set business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. You should also be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.

You will have a great opportunity to learn extensive knowledge of the finest red wines from France.

The work is exciting and sociable, the vast majority of your time will be  learning from our extremely experienced Managers and other staffs.

The Wine Bar Assistant Manager has to be observant and have the ability to think critically and efficiently. You should be a skilled communicator with excellent problem solving, observation, and interpersonal skills.

Wine Bar Assistant Manager Responsibilities:

• Learning about the large varieties of wine that we carry.
• Helping the business aspects of the bar, such as taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
• Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that bar is well staffed during peak hours.
• Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls.
• Working with diverse personalities both on the staff and patrons.
• Planning and taking part in promotional events.

Wine Bar Assistant Manager Requirements:

• Minimum education: Highschool
• Restaurant or management experience is not necessary. (preferred)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
