Job Description

The Management Trainee Programme (“MTP”) is designed for graduates with great potential to become part of our management team and to progress gradually within our Group. The MTP offers comprehensive exposure in the hotel by rotations through various departments and it also lays the foundation for a successful career with the Group. We focus on developing graduates to positions at the supervisory / management level with a well-rounded understanding of the hotel business.

Programme Highlights

  • The MTP is a 24-month intensive development programme with rotations through various departments. 
  • The Front Office operations will be the main focus of the training programme whilst the other aspects of operations including Housekeeping, Engineering, Revenue, Sales & Marketing and Quality Management will also be covered in the programme. 
  • At the end of the 24-month training programme, our Group will review the Management Trainee’s (“MT”) performance and understand more about the person’s area of interest. The MT’s preferences will be considered when deciding his/her final appointment. 
  • If the MT’s performance is satisfactory, a supervisory role will be offered at the end of the 24-month training programme.

Requirements

  • Diploma or above in hospitality management or related disciplines; 
  • A passion for working in hotels;
  • Individuals who are passionate, creative and determined to make a difference;
  • The willingness to learn and drive to further develop personal and professional skills;
  • Highly flexible with good analytical and presentation skills;
  • Good team players with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
