Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • To effectively manage and lead the recruitment for the requirements of the company and relevant client group via delivery of the Resourcing Strategy
  • To own and manage the delivery of Recruitment activities; Sourcing, Screening, Assessment (limited in scope) Offer and Hiring within the agreed remit
  • To ensure that agreed KPI’s and SLA’s are in place and adhered to by the team.
  • To play a key role in managing stakeholder relationships across Recruitment and Shared services and drive a continuous improvement mind-set
  • Thinking associated with the interpretation of procedures to resolve problems within established frameworks
  • Thinking at this level is found in complex supervisory (rather than managerial) positions where horizons are day-to-day and para professional / administrative roles which have to follow a wide range of procedures. It is about selecting the appropriate route rather than drawing the map
  • The role may take ownership of and solve more complex and / or technical problems and issues within own speciality to ensure customer satisfaction and business improvement

 

 RESPONSIBILITIES

 Delivery

  • To deliver the resourcing plans for the SSC, but also for the wider business (supporting the Resourcing CoE), using credible, customer focused, cost-effective and innovative recruitment solutions using a range of techniques
  • Work closely with Stakeholders during the recruitment process to develop the resourcing strategy and cost effective solutions
  • Responsible for delivering and maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings by ensuring team processes transactions accurately and meets agreed service levels for process specific area
  • Produce monthly reports and statistics from the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Ensure KPI’s are met within the team
  • Manage external stakeholder relationships with suppliers and agencies (job boards/trade magazines etc.) as required
  • Responsible for ensuring that the SSC PSL is fit for purpose in regards to effectiveness and value for money
  • Work with HR to ensure that there are succession plans in place for the relevant client group and that there is a resourcing plan for all SSC Critical roles
  • Partner with Resourcing CoE on relevant project work that will support the delivery of the overall Resourcing Strategy as per remit
  • Providing process specific sign-off or approval where needed and responsible for ensuring team understands and complies with internal approvals, requisition process put in place
  • Enabling problem identification and define incident notification and escalation procedures for the team
  • Identify risks associated with execution of the assigned tasks within the business process and escalate / mitigate / resolve as required
  • Responsible for limited assessment (for some roles) and managing assessment process for all hiring
  • Building and managing candidate relationships throughout the new hire/ on-boarding / transfer process

 

 Continuous improvement

  • Apply understanding of assigned business process to identify gaps and propose continuous improvement measures
  • Stay abreast of market trends within Resourcing
  • Work closely with the Talent and Learning Delivery team, the Reward team as well as the Employee Services team to understand root causes and represent process procedures, practical implications and exceptions
  • Ensure service experience is enhance through continuous review

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree qualified
  • A clear understanding of Recruitment processes and standards relevant to own discipline.
  • Recruitment experience of 7+ years within an established internal recruitment function.
  • Able to move in an international arena
