Safilo is seeking to hire a young and energetic IT professional who will assist with the operation and maintenance of systems hardware, software and network infrastructure, tracking and troubleshooting support issues, and completion of other tasks as assigned by the IT Infrastructure Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with at least 2 years' relevant experience to assist a supportive, regional team and gain exposure to the implementation of various IT initiatives and projects. Proficiency in English is essential and to be successful in the role, you will be a confident communicator with a passion for technology.

Job Description:

• Handle day to day network and IT issues
• Manage IT applications and databases
• Provide phone and email support to users across the region.
• Perform diagnosis on both hardware and software issues and implement solutions and resolve issues.
• Analyse problem tickets to  identify permanent solutions, user training needs, Help Desk process improvement, and ideas to eliminate business interruptions.
• Provide support for all applications including but not limited to MS Office Suite and applications. Support all business related applications.
• Work with our European Headquarters to standardise and streamline processes.

 Requirements:

• Degree Holder in Computer Studies or equivalent
• Ideal minimum of 2 years' experience in related field
• Possess a strong technical background in system administration and operation skills
• Good understanding of how to support/ troubleshoot/ repair: Windows 7/2008, Microsoft Active Directory, LAN and WAN network management, PC Hardware, POS Peripheral Hardware
• Must be self-motivated and have the independence, initiative and desire to learn.
• Good time management skills with the ability to respond to service and trouble calls quickly and efficiently, while adjusting priorities.
• Strong English proficiency
