The client is privately held IT Solutions Company headquartered in Switzerland with International operations in Americas, APAC, and EMEA. The company offers market leading Virtualization solutions and services, niche market with low competition. With their expansion in Asia, they are looking for a Regional Presales Consultant / IT Solution Architect (Pre-sales) – South East Asia (HKD800k based + comm.) to grow the business across the region.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting to APAC Head of Sales and Global Head of Presales
• Work with Regional Sales Manager/Director for opportunities, demand generation and case development
• Articulate Cornerstone’s value proposition during the sales process to various technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholder groups at all levels (from end-users to executives)
• Collect, document and assess business, functional and technical requirements during the sales process and design/propose the appropriate Cornerstone solution to meet those requirements and achieve the stated business objectives
• Contribute to the Technical and Business Benefits Assessment by gaining deep understanding of client needs, identifying value drivers and monitoring achievement of strategic, financial and operational benefits to ensure that planned business outcomes are achieved
• As a true solution expert, educate direct sales team, clients and partners on the continuous innovations released into the Cornerstone solution
• Prepare sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations and presentations to corporate clients  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Sciences /Engineering/ IT Management / Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 7 years of Pre-Sales Engineering/enablement/ technical sales engineering experiences
• Excellent knowledge on PDP, VAX, Alpha hardware and their physical components.
• Excellent knowledge of Open VMS, True 64, Sun Solaris, Windows server 2008, Linux (Red Hat, CentOS).
• Strong experience in DEC, HP, SunSparc, VMS, Linux technology platforms would be a definite asset.
• Industry Virtualization technology experience on VMware, Citrix, RedHat, NetApp or Microsoft is ideal.
• Regional exposure is a plus
• Experiences in acting as enterprise architect and solution evangelist
• Fluent speaking in English; Additional Asia language is a plus
• Self-motivated; able to work independently
