Job Description
Position: JAVA Backend Engineer
What you do:
- Design and develop Coincola's core system such as trading system
- Design high reliability services that can withstand large fluctuations in traffic and trading volume
General Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above, major in computer science or relevant.
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
Technical Requirements:
- Be good at database design, distributed system design, API design and etc.
- Familiar with CQRS, actor system or willing to learn it.
- Familiar with play, akka, or willing to learn it.
- Familiar with MySQL and SQL.
- Familiar with data structures, algorithm, design pattern and distributed system design.
- Good understanding of middleware caches such as redis, memcached;
- Good programming habits and specifications, have to be able to write Unit test.
Nice to Haves:
- Opinionated but think collaboration and teamwork is the key to success, good understanding and suggestions for the product demand
- Be powerful, self-driving, have the owner consciousness, passion and self-driven
- Knowledge of Crypto-currencies and experience in buying and selling them
- Experience of working in Financial institutions/ companies
