Job Description
Key Priorities include:
Leads sales efforts to develop business plans while sustaining sales growth and promote ACDL Brand and services. This position is responsible to recommend taylor-made commercial plan and monitor execution.
- Driving full sales cycle, expanding business with the existing client portfolio (selling new/renewing existing contract), proactively identify sales opportunities based on client strategic priorities and networking with Brand and Retail departments.
- Develop business plans to sustain sales growth and determine
development strategies for targeted customer segments
- Identify and develop client portfolio through a targeted business
development approach linked with the company’s overall strategy.
- Close collaboration with Learning & Development and Market Analytics teams to drive seamless delivery to clients.
- Validate the project briefing prior to project execution and communicate closely with the designated departments.
- Monitor customer satisfaction
Key success factors will require:
- Be a “Brand Ambassador” promoting ACDL unique value proposition.
- Strong sales leadership including: prospecting, building comprehensive commercial proposal estimating financial return; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with Executives and other decision makers in Retail Operation, Marketing, HR organizations across Luxury, Fashion, Cosmetics, Beverage industries.
- Ability to build enduring relationships with Retail, Marketing and HR decision makers – truly passionate relationship developer.
- Excellent problem solving, good analytical skills and solution oriented
- Very good client-facing and presentation skills
- Strong affiliation to sales personas and develop sales strategies
- Financial understanding (eg. P&L, EBITDA) and how this relate s to business access
- Excellent at consultative selling

Earning Client Trust / Building Relationships
- Build and maintain strong networking and engagement with key players & decision makers across broad base of client targets.
- Confidence & credibility to talk to a wide range of decision influencers.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Consumer brand and Retail industry, understanding how trade and business needs are changing and how ACDL solutions can help solve client business issues.
- Full understanding of ACDL portfolio and interconnectedness of different solutions.
Understanding Client needs
- Has a deep understanding of customer business models (4P’s) and can challenge the way customers’ view their business.
- Clearly understands the needs of different client end – Management, Retail, Marketing, HR and Retailers and how a particular solution can deliver outcomes.
- Leads final presentation of results to ensure client satisfaction, actionable recommendations and additional opportunity detection.
Sales Management
- Deployment of necessary solutions around persona's as part of sales planning process.
- Able to drive team towards sales targets, has visibility of all opportunities and risk, ensures the team has tight pipeline and proposal tracking systems.
- Comfortable negotiating with senior clients and knows what levers to use. Clearly links the value of ACDL Sales Effectiveness products and solutions with the price to overcome objections. Pre-empts stakeholder objections and pushes the client to a favorable outcome.
Planning & Forecasting
- Owns the business plan: financial target submission on hand/pipeline.
- Takes overall accountability for business planning and implementation.
- Tracks the financial performance of clients.
- Sound understanding of profitability and EBITDA and how this relates to all proposals.
Team Management and Collaboration
- Manage a team of two assistants
- Team Management (including day-today management, check-ins, one to ones etc.) Coaching and training of others on the team.
- Prepare concrete and motivating briefs (price, products, material).
- Closely work with the different department while issuing monthly
reporting on performance criteria’s
- Keep a database of competitor intelligence relevant and accessible
Experience and Knowledge required
- 6+ years’ minimum experience as retail and/or sales professional in the luxury and/or premium industries.
- Knowledge in sales processes.
- Good knowledge of Study Analytics, Learning & Development, Digital Learning Experiences and Execution support
- Sensitive to the Brand, Retail and Luxury Industry
- Multi-tasking capabilities
- Persuasive and excellent communicator for external and internal relationships
- Strong analytical approach
- Excellent business English and Mandarin is a plus?
- Proven business and entrepreneur acumen
- Strong analytical skills
