Responsibilities

• To prepare testing/sampling plan and conduct routine sampling on raw materials and finished products and air / water sampling in factory area;
• To prepare food sample, and conduct microbial test and lab result analysis and report preparation;
• To arrange lab testing to outside HOKLAS recognized laboratory for export products;
• To conduct equipment maintenance and calibration, and good housekeeping record;
• To carry out stock take regularly and liaise with supplier for lab equipment / consumable purchase;
• To assist in label checking for local and export products to ensure regulatory compliance;
• To assist the implementation of ISO22000 and HACCP system, document preparation and review;
• To assist in food safety inspection at Central Kitchen to ensure proper food handling and record keeping;
• To assist and conduct personal hygiene and OHSAS training;
• To assist the ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma holder or above in Food Science or related disciplines;
• 3 to 5 years working experience, preferable in food manufacturing industry;
• Knowledge of Laboratory Testing and Sampling;
• Knowledge on HACCP, ISO 22000 and OHSAS system;
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Chinese Word Processing;
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese;
• A good team player
