The client is a listed garment, apparel and textile manufacturer group, is now seeking a Manager, Quality Assurance / QA Manager (Softlines – Apparel & Garment) (HKD45k – 60k) to join their team in Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes and implements Corporate Quality Policy, Guideline and procedures. Defines quality measures in conjunction with staff.
• Strategic planning of QA initiatives
• Lead a team of QA to develop the framework for Inspection and audit process including reports and forms. Ensures the collection and completion of data for reports is accurate, quantifiable and detailed.
• Analyze reports to identify areas for improvement in the quality system
• Lead QA projects, e.g. quality cost reduction, enhancement of quality management system, etc.
• Analyse and utilize data from a variety of sources to report quality performance and trends
• Manages staff and develops them for future growth within the department and organization. Coaches staff on performance and professional development issues.
• Motivates staff to achieve efficiency and productivity.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder or above
• 10 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance/ QA
• Relevant experience in Garment / Textile / Apparel / Clothing industry is required
• Strong in Quality Management System, ISO 9001 and Project Management
• Strong in quality tools, e.g. statistical technical, 7-tools
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and motivate professional staff
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Travelling is required
