Specific job descriptions include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and execute communication strategy to Foundation’s vision, missions and services as well as the public education messages we strive to get cross to local community
- Implement editorial, copywriting and translation initiatives by writing and translating various corporate communication and marketing collaterals for the Foundation such as funding/sponsorship proposals, appeal letters, media speeches, annual reports, press releases, advertorials, leaflets, social media contents and corporate videos etc.
- Work closely with all operation heads of the HKBCF to ensure that their services are timely and accurately publicized and communicated with the stakeholders.
- Plan and manage regular and ad hoc events for PR, fundraising and communication purposes.
- Liaise and build good relationship with key stakeholders, the media and the press
- Plan and control communication budget
- Manage external agencies and service providers
Qualifications
- A university degree with major in Journalism, Language/Literature, Translation, PR & Communication, Marketing or related discipline
- 5 years’ experience in PR/communication, journalism or media relations; experience in NGO is an advantage
- Excellent command of both English and Chinese with exceptional bilingual writing skills is a must
- Proficient in digital marketing, social media and other emerging communication vehicles
- Well organised, detail oriented and capable of prioritizing and advancing multiple projects simultaneously under pressure
- Possess good network and rapport with media and external organisations
- Good interpersonal skills, ability to work with people from a broad range of background internally and externally
