Our Client, a Global Sportswear Brand, now looking for a high caliber candidate for the following position:

Senior Buyer / Senior Regional Merchandise Executive / Senior Regional Product Executive, Sports Footwear (Asia Pacific Market)

Department:   APAC Merchandising Footwear

Working Location:  Hong Kong

Summary/ Purpose of the Job:

To support Manager to build APAC footwear and liaise with markets to identify the needs and gaps of business opportunity for the APAC region.

Job Responsibilities:

Job duties include but not limited to, the followings:

• Assist to develop regional footwear lifestyle products to accommodate APAC market needs
• Support in analyzing and identifying product gaps with opportunity for APAC markets
• Provide support to managers in generating seasonal line plan based on season initiatives and trends analysis and market feedback
• Responsible for relevant, market and competitive analysis
• Work closely with across functions with design, development and sourcing
• Coordinate with markets to ensure commonality in building an integrated brand and proper approval process to manage consistency on design and quality across the region
• Assist the team to create presentations for products and present to the markets (subsidiaries and licensee teams) during key meetings
• Communicate and cooperate between retail operations, merchandising and marketing to accomplish sales and margin objectives
• Handle SMU requests for markets
• Handle samples coordination and arrangement and other ad-hoc projects as assigned by managers

Job Requirements:

• Degree holder, preferably major in fashion, merchandising, business management or equivalent.

• 4-6 years merchandising experience in footwear industry
• Solid Asia Pacific regional exposure with focus in Korea and South East Asia
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skill
• Excellent analytical and planning skill
• Emphasis collaborative and team work
• Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Knowledge of Korean language would be an advantage
• Frequent travel is required
