Key Responsibilities:

  • Create highly engaging content that enables brands to tell stories that stand out and appeal to consumers 
  • Lead and oversee the creation of content across multiple channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other digital media. Including shooting and directing where required 
  • Ensure content quality and strategic alignment with interests of target audience as well as brand objectives and voice 
  • Strong interest and understanding of popular culture and the type of content that resonates with millennials as well as gen z audiences 
  • Stay abreast with all social media content trends and platform evolutions in order to advise brands on the most creative and effective ways to stand out through content. Including online influencers and content creators 
  • Campaign ideation, conception and development that involves content activation and influencer collaboration 
  • Lead the development of creative presentations that explains ideas beautifully and concisely

 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • Experience creating content for social channels in a fast-paced environment with short timelines and quick turnaround 
  • Have strong Adobe suite capabilities e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign 
  • Experience shooting still and moving imagery professionally with a DSLR 
  • University degree from an Internationally recognised university 
  • A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in communications content marketing, advertising for digital and social media platforms 
  • Must be fluent in English language and posses outstanding reading and writing skills (test will be given) 
  • Have excellent communication skills – verbal and written 
  • Think critically and creatively, meaning the ability to think clearly and rationally, solve problems and develop new and useful possibilities 
  • Plan and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion 
  • Work calmly and maintain good judgment in a fast-paced work environment 
  • Collaborate with colleagues from different countries and appreciate cultural differences 
  • Understand current and emerging social media platforms and their usage from a consumer and business perspective 
  • Understand how to drive conversations and online word of mouth 
  • Be passionate about social media and digital marketing

 

Additional skills preferred, but not required: 

  • Video production and editing
  • Spoken and written Cantonese
  • Basic web design skills
