Mingtiandi is Asia’s best-known real estate news and information website and we are looking for a qualified business journalist to join as our fourth editorial team member.

Our daily updates on the region’s property markets are avidly read by industry leaders from Morgan Stanley, Blackstone, and Sun Hung Kai, and we are looking for an associate editor that can fulfill our audience’s demanding standards.

During 2018 Mingtiandi is expanding its award-winning coverage, and we are counting on stars like you to help build our reputation as the source that the New York Times, FT and Wall Street Journal turn to for the inside story on Asian real estate.

Responsibilities

• Researching, writing and editing articles on Asia’s real estate industry

• Interviewing top-level real estate investors and developers to cover new projects and funds

• Assisting Mingtiandi's lead editor with in-depth research reports as necessary

• Editing the work of other writers to ensure quality

• Contributing ideas for new reports and features on the website

Qualifications

• At least three years previous professional experience as a journalist is required, preferably with a fast-paced news organisation

• Detailed understanding of Asian economies and markets is required

• Demonstrated knowledge of real estate and finance is preferred

• Professional-level English writing ability is required

• Ability to read and write Chinese is a plus

• Candidates should already reside in Hong Kong
