Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • conduct video shooting, video editing and photo taking;
  • own video projects from concept to execution;
  • brainstorm and develop video and social media content;
  • coordinate pre and post-production task including video, photos and graphic/images creation or editing;
  • provide video shooting and photo taking on College events or for College promotion;
  • keep and manage video and photo archives; and
  • source, procure and provide maintenance of equipments.

 

Applicant should:

  • possess a recognized degree / advanced diploma in Multimedia, Digital Communication, New Media Studies, Digital Strategy or related disciplines;
  • have at least 3 years' work experience in video shooting, video editing and digital post production;
  • be proficient in video editing / design software, e.g. Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, full Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc;
  • be familiar with social media tools (Facebook, Instagram) and video formats;
  • be hardworking, self-motivated, creative, responsible, a good team-player and detail-minded;
  • be able to work independently, meet tight deadline and manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • possess good communication skill and positive attitude; and
  • have good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

 
The appointee may be required to work in evenings, on weekends and public holidays on request.  Candidates with work experience in the tertiary education, TV media, video production house or agency environment will be an advantage.
