Responsibilities

• Perform purchasing functions and supplier management;
• Source quality supplier and new products including health supplements and traditional Chinese medicines and other related materials;
• New product formulation development, define product specifications and testing methodology validation;
• Product quality control and registration; ensure that all products comply with relevant regulations;
• Analyze market trends and maintain a competitive price;
• Work with other departments to ensure that products will be delivered in time;
• Logistic and inventory management;
• Provide product training;
• Answer customer enquiries;
• Conduct health seminars;
• Perform other duties required.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Nutrition / Food Technology / Biochemistry or related discipline ; 
• Over 3 years working experience in health supplement / traditional Chinese medicine / food industry;
• Experience in pharmaceutical and / or traditional Chinese medicine registration will be an advantage; 
• Overseas traveling required; 
• Strong business acumen, negotiation and communication skills;
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized and strong sense of responsibility;
• Able to work in a fast pace environment and under pressure;
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin);
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Purchasing Executive.
