As Business Intelligence Analyst you will be part of the Quality & Compliance Business Intelligence team supporting the Responsible Sourcing (RS) and Product Safety & Quality Assurance (PSQA) teams within Target Sourcing Services. You will develop, monitor and report on key performance indicators for these teams.

Data Management

Responsible for the creation, and/or capture, of both enterprise and local data within a data system, warehouse or tool. You will work with Product Safety & Quality Team (PSQA) and Responsible Sourcing teams (RS) on data governance workflows and processes, collaborating cross functionally on projects as needed. Key activities include

• Define and interpret data governance and quality standards and ensures these are applied.
• Maintain data in the source system throughout the data lifecycle (i.e. update and delete data, as appropriate) based on the standards defined by the governance organization. Consult on standards and ensure alignment to the data lifecycle.

Data Analysis, Reporting & Statistics

Create and document analytical methodologies used in the execution of RS and PSQA key performance metrics:

• Create and run data analytics for PSQA, RS, Vendors and factories field activities and performance
• Participate in knowledge sharing of PSQA and RS systems to support cyclical and iterative model builds with analysists and teams on the field.
• Explore and develop reporting tools based on changing business needs.
• Provide a centralized resource of statistics, data analysis and business intelligence for regions or multiple locations.

Monitoring & Evaluation

Facilitates discussions with key stakeholders to develop, monitor and report on key performance indicators for quality & compliance strategic initiatives. Supports project teams through analytical impact analysis.

Requirements

• 5 years’ experience
• B.A./B.S. degree in business or related field
• Experience in line operation and business support or technical roles
• Proven experience in managing tools and applications in forecasting, scheduling and reporting or other technical applications
• Significant analytic aptitude, ability to analyze data and formulate effective strategies and tactics to achieve company objectives
• Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SQL, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
• Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
• Desire to stay current in data collection and analysis tools and methodologies
• Ability to prioritize effectively and complete multiple tasks within assigned deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in fast paced rapidly changing environment and to manage ambiguity that comes with change
