Our client is a leading Italian retailer Sourcing Office in Hong Kong, with main business activities in sourcing Hardgoods, Electronics, Homeware and Quality assurance (QE Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Social Compliance) in numerous Far East markets.

Responsibilities:

• Source the best product in terms of price, quality and delivery
• End to end process management from sourcing to delivery in cooperation with all parties involved inside and outside the company to endure customer satisfaction
• Maintain strong relationship with vendors for product development and production
• Source new suppliers in compliance with commercial requirements and quality standards.
• Negotiate prices and timeline
• Communicate and prepare meeting with suppliers and buyers

Requirements:

• Experience in DIY, Car and Gardening with 2-5 Years Merchandising experience
• With experience in European buying office and retails supermarket is preferable
• Factory technical evaluation, Familiar with factory environment to be able to evaluate factory potential and capabilities
• Knowledge of production sites areas for each segment
• European market regulations, Familiar EN regulation and testing process for European market
• An all-round innovative individual with good problem-solving skills
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Willing to travel
