Job Description

Our Client, a leading American Toy,Games & Entertainment company is looking for a talented 'Senior Category Manager' for their business in Hong Kong as they are expanding operations globally. 

Your Role:

  • Reflecting the regional channel strategy for the assigned Toys/Games channel.
  • Develop category strategies and merchandising framework for the assigned key accounts.
  • Facilitate the design execution of the channel strategy per market.
  • Strategic drive a regional approach on ranging, investment, promotion and store fundamentals.
  • Develop the strategy for right product assortment to drive value creation and meet with both client expectation and external customer need.
  • Implement key store drivers (range, space, promotion and display), working with store planning teams where applicable.
  • Ensure appropriate approvals in place for planograms, end caps, display stands and feature areas/ special events as negotiated with buyers.
  • Conduct quantitative market research to assess market segmentation models, customer tradeoffs.
  • Develop value maps and derive pricing models.
  • Create new product ideas
  • Identify competitive edge, features, price setting.
  • Work with teams to finalize final product specification.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Strong experience of over 5 years in Product Marketing,Key Account,Trade Marketing in consumer goods segment-FMCG/TOYS/GAMING/RETAIL
  • Strong communication skills in English, both in verbal and written, sufficient for sophisticated strategical selling and negotiation and Mandarin/Cantonese
  • Knowledge Experience in Sales, Retail Operation and Key Account Management
  • Strong Leadership Skills, lead in the envisioning of the future of the business, to engage / enable / energize the multifunctional team and execute the plans with excellence.
  • Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to operate at a senior level within a global and regional business context
  • Ability to analysis and provide actionable business insights from data and reports
