The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing prospective translators and maintaining the highest standards of all MYL’s Chinese language assets, through a combination of QA, recruitment, testing and feedback for new and existing Chinese translators, and evaluation of Clients’ work, feedback and complaints.

To qualify for this role, you will need:

• At least six years’ translation experience.  Experience in the financial and/or legal translation sector would be an advantage;
• Experience with CAT tools such as TRADOS;
• Degree holder in Translation, English Language or similar;
• Familiar with and skilled at translation of English to Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) and Simplified Chinese, and vice versa;
• Excellent communication, organisational and coordination skills;
• Independent with initiative and able to work under pressure;
• Ability to provide creative solutions to problems;
• Team-oriented with an inclusive and collaborative way of working.
