Responsibilities

• Drafting, review, and negotiation of supplier and customer contracts in both English and Chinese.
• Liaise and work with business units within company provide legal support service.
• Ensure internal compliance with company policies, including requirements for the review and approval of company contracts and human resource matters.
• Research on regulatory updates and relevant compliance issues.
• Provide general administrative support to Legal Manager.
• Monitoring progress of contract review status and prepare reports.
• Report to Legal Manager in Hong Kong provide regulate update to corporate counsel in United States.

 Requirements

• Degree in Law or Business Studies.
• 5 years relevant working experience either as a paralegal, legal executive or legal officer in a law firm or in-house legal team.
• Solid experience in drafting and reviewing commercial documents as well as giving legal advice.
• Ability to conduct legal and regulatory research independently
• Good initiative and interpersonal communication skills, work independently, mature and polite.  Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadline and response immediately to instructions.
• Good command of written and spoken English, proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Chinese word processing with knowledge in simplified Chinese.
• Occasional travel to Guangzhou office is required.
