This listed multinational publishing group operates a portfolio of international business information publications and events across various sectors including investment banking and financial services.  A newly created opening exists for an experienced client-facing sales professional with extensive China market experience to join their capital markets conferences business in Beijing or Shanghai.

Reporting into the China CEO and working closely with the head of conferences, you will develop trusted business relationships with senior officials from municipal and provincial governments, executive management at leading SOEs and China-based MNCs, as well as major financial institutions with a view to identifying investment opportunities and proposing event and content-based solutions to achieve their strategic objectives.

Requirements
 - Minimum of ten years in sales, business development, client servicing/account management
 - In-depth understanding and knowledge of foreign-direct-investment (FDI) in China
 - Capable of operating at the senior executive level and highly skilled in relationship building
 - Extensive network of senior level contacts and relationships in government, corporate and financial
 - Native Putonghua with excellent command of English and ability to travel on a frequent basis
