The Informatics Technical Specialist is to serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the installation, integration, verification and support of our diagnostics products pre-installation. Key responsibilities include the followings:

• Pre-implementation planning and preparation; software installation; connectivity; verification testing; customer training; and technical support. 
• Activities may be performed by phone or on site and requires coordination with internal cross-functional teams and external customers
• Analyze user needs; gather customer requirements; design an integrated, scalable and comprehensive informatics solutions to improve the automation and informatics solutions for clinical diagnostic healthcare customers
• Serve as the informatics applications expert for the field service organization to provide enhanced support as need to address customer needs.
• Collaborate and partner with the marketing organizations for new product identification, strategy and development that will provide solutions beyond the competition

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science; Information Systems; Medical Technology or related field.  Master’s Degree a plus
• Minimum of 5 years systems/instrument software integration and support experience. Healthcare IT field preferred.
• Excellent IT functional expertise, IT product and industry knowledge in Laboratory Medicine
• Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues, excellent problem solving skills
• Service-driven, commercially-minded
• Must be team orientated, analytical, highly organized
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
• Fluent in Chinese and English
