Sales & Marketing Department – Hong Kong

Report to: Sales & Marketing Manager, Area South China

Job Description:

• Customer Visit/CPM report
• E-mail communication
• Rate quotation / filing
• Solicit Market intelligence (All Trades)
• INTTRA Service promotion (Booking / SI)
• Meet or exceed sales objectives of assigned territory by promoting and selling Hamburg Sud & Alianca services to Direct accounts, NVOCC’s, Freight Forwarders, Trading Companies and other channels through professional sales skill and long-term customer relationship.
• Make at least 15 quality sales calls each week on target and existing accounts.
• Make minimum weekly 10 export sales lead with quality information.
• To prepare a customer profile and submit to senior for any joint call.
• Probe customer’s requirement professionally and take immediate action to tackle as well record customer visit outcome into CPM with regular follow up .
• Produce reliable forecast for cargo / equipment / port pair volume of those assigned customers
• To provide quality service and timely response to our existing customers with a professional manner/approach .and respond timely to all e-mail correspondence.
• Ensure supporting other departments, Trade Management and oversea offices / agents to achieve business plan and adhoc task with due consideration of company bottom line and customer requirement

Qualifications:

• Fluency at oral / writing English
• Excel knowledge
• Mandarin is a advantage
• Matriculated and preferable tertiary education
• Min 3 years field Sales experience with shipping industry
