Job Description

Major responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily performance and productivity of telesales to make sure the sales targets and service level are met with Council’s standard
  • Systematically review and provide suggestions to improve the workflow with the objective to drive more sales and a smooth operation between all parties
  • Identify team members’ strengths and weaknesses, assign jobs precisely to their strengths and develop their skills and competencies in telesales
  • Train teammates on telesales techniques and familiarise teammates on new sales packages
  • Convey customers’ feedback to management, as well as maintain and develop relationships with potential and existing customers via telephone and email
  • Manage a sales database, ensuring all calls are logged accurately, including contact details, result of calls, and any follow up dates or other action required
  • Conduct one-to-one marketing / sales to prospective customers over the telephone (cold-calls) and distribute relevant marketing information via fax / email in a professional manner
  • Understand and communicate up-to-date information on the products and services offered
  • Provide after-sales services and administrative support when necessary
  • Report and analyze team performance periodically

Requirements: 

  • Matriculated or above with minimum 3 years’ telesales experience, of which 1 year's supervisory experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Tools
  • Self-motivated, aggressive and result-oriented
  • Good telephone manner, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Fluent in spoken Cantonese and English is a must, Mandarin would be advantageous

Remuneration and Benefits: 

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
