Our client is one of the biggest electronics company in HK and is active in the areas of consumer electronics and control systems for industrial and commercial markets. 

Job Accountabilities: 

• Oversee and manage the R&D department, resources, budget and strategic direction; 
• Establish the overall objectives and initiatives of product development and activities, such as product design validation plan, provide guidance and checklists; 
• Manage and formulate the Development Plan throughout the project life cycle; 
• Establish and maintain an effective, time sensitive method of accurately predicting costs, timetables and deliverables for new product development; 
• Develop and uphold a standard of R&D workflow and ensure product quality, reliability, regulatory compliance, cost and schedule meets customer requirements; 
• Oversee the department performance of R&D and ensure the effectiveness and efficiency.

Suitable candidates shall have/be: 

• Master in Electronics Engineering or Degree in Engineering with equivalent experience; 
• 10+ years’ experience in the electronics product design, prototyping, debugging and executing engineering efforts from design to production; 
• Strong mindset in hardware design quality and development process; 
• Extensive experience in IoT and HVA products preferred; 
• Dynamic and be able to think out-of-the-box and strategically; 
• Demonstrate knowledge in safety standards and SMPS topologies; 
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin
