Job Description

Role:

  • Develop and implement the Retail segment plan in line with regional and corporate objectives, identifying key end users and partners who will contribute to the overall success of the Retail segment strategy in the region 
    • Create a detailed Business Plan identifying target end user accounts and a strategy to engage with them.
    • Prioritise target integrator accounts and opportunities and work with the Regional sales team to ensure is seen as preferred vendor for these partners.
    • Develop and Communicate the Business plan in the Region, taking into consideration the plan for this segment.
    • Anchor and update the Business plan with the Regional Director, other Business Development Managers and Sales Manager at least twice per year.
    • Develop and track objectives and KPIs to measure the segment performance.
    • Conduct regular business reviews and follow-up of KPIs/sales performance for the segment.
    • Identify initiatives to reach these end users through the correct partners and work with the Regional sales team to develop tools and collateral to support them.
  • Initiate End-Customer business development efforts 
    • Focusing on end-customers, initiate dialogue with the right points of contact to educate them in’ video surveillance solutions.
    • Create a network of end-customer contacts and identify key stakeholders to be able to leverage decision making
    • Work with the Regional sales team to ensure partners are in the strongest position to be able to close deals in the segment.
  • Follow up and report goals and KPIs for the segment 
    • Follow up and report the development for the segment to the Regional Director, the Global BDM team and also present it to the regional sales team.

Responsibility:

  • 5 – 8 Years of Business Development/Sales Experience within the Retail segment.
  • An experienced, energetic, results orientated and self-driven business development manager.
  • A high knowledge and interest in the business and sales environment, preferably gained in the specific segment.
  • Experience from the IT or security field in the sector is highly desirable.
  • Strategic and ability to influence others through your activity.  You communicate well with others and are able to initiate new discussions and relationships with potential customers.
  • Passionate about what you do and that you are proactive and independent in thoughts and actions.
  • You are well structured and able to explain complex matters in an easy way.
  • Articulate and have excellent presentation skills.
  • High level in written and spoken English is required and possible other key languages for the region is required.
  • Academic degree (is likely).
  • You should have a network of end user contacts in the segment.
  • High level of integrity.
  • International Business Development/Sales experience (preferred).

Package: HKD 850K - 1.2M per annum
