Job Description

The incumbent is responsible to develop, manage and lead the flow of Asia Supply Chain process with integration to our Retailing markets. With a focus on Supply Chain model and logistics setup to support the ambition of our global consumer brands strategy on Global Beauty Gifts and Accessories. This leader role will also take the responsibility to develop an agile and cost effective Supply Chain with flawless integration with Retail Supply, Import Operations, Buying and Quality teams.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities include:

  • Manage communication and engagement with senior stakeholders for all major supply chain initiatives and new product launches
  • Identify, develop and implement any transformational supply chain initiatives to improve overall efficiency and daily operation process
  • Maintaining professional relationship with freight forwarders, hold them accountable for stretch operational KPI, drive better value added services and obtain the best practice market insight to enable process improvement activities
  • Provide leadership in supply chain customer services and outstanding supports to our retailing units, develop and deliver various integrated supply chain initiatives
  • Build a strong partnership with cross-functional teams on a global scale and raise the supply chain profile optimize overall business performance
  • Plan and lead supply chain integration between WBA Asia and various retailing units, provide adequate supports in designing the WBA ways of working and implement related set of measurement metrix
  • Lead Supply Chain systems capability and system enhancements design works to improve process efficiency in achieving designated business targets
  • Drive process improvement and system implementation for the supply chain operations function
  • Take full ownership in providing technical advice in supply chain operations and take leads managing and resolving day-to-day operational challenges
  • Define, scope and lead changes to develop best-in-class supply chain process with best utilization on order management and freight forwarding systems

Key Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in SCM / Logistics Management / Operations Management
  • 5 years of managerial experience in the field of Supply Chain, preferable in multi-cultural environment 
  • Proficient in sizable scale change management projects 
  • Strong logistics understanding on international freight management, customs documentation and dangerous goods handling
  • Experience in managing the end-to-end process from PO to Shipment
  • Strong ability in delivering exceptional operational results and driving process simplification and system optimization exercises
  • Strong analytical skill and problem solving ability in improving overall supply chain performance
  • Experience in managing cross-functional, international supply chain change projects
  • Knowledge in international supply chain processes with ability to manage multiple disciplines across various categories of product type
  • Excellent knowledge on order management, international freight and logistics management
  • Strong presentation skills with great of business acumen
  • Excellent problem solving skills, proactive, independent, detail-minded and well-organized
  • Excellent communication ability in working with all level of stakeholder from different operating functions
  • In depth understanding of international and domestic supply chain process
  • Able to multi-tasking and possess a high level of integrity
  • Resourceful and possess excellent interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills
  • Exceptional data analytics skill, operations management approaches and result oriented
  • Desire to work in fast-paced environment, multi-tasked and international cross-function projects
