POSITION OVERVIEW
This challenging position is key to pull in parts to fulfill our customer requests. You have the right mindset to maintain supply chain responsive and lean and you use SAP ERP to have effective supply and demand planning. You are part of the Supply Chain team of 12 persons, located in Hongkong. You occasionally travel to China.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Supply Chain Managers in execution of Order Fulfillment process; to schedule and monitor the movement of materials through supply chain incl. material pipeline readiness in consignment and sample management, stock consumption and variance;
Accountability of inventory take into account economic factors like step pricing and supply risk for spare parts due to obsolesce or EOL, through transaction documentation, process and procedure verification, and system review. Develops and executes replenishment strategies. Provides financial reporting and reconciliation of inventories;
Performs a variety of coordinating, routing, and material handling duties to meet production schedules and expedite if necessary;
Identifying and solving operational issues for Order Fulfillment within scope, in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
YOUR PROFILE
MSc/BSc degree in Supply Chain or related discipline.
Minimum 3 years experience in demand planning/production planning and material control;
Strong numeric sense and analytical skill;
Proficient in MS Excel (advanced level), knowledge in SAP will be plus;
Result-oriented, strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders;
Occasional travel to China is required.
