Fairmont Shipping (HK) Ltd. and TravelPeople Ltd. are looking for a Crew Travel Assistant.   The company’s culture is one that is welcoming and supportive and they are looking for a like-minded individual to join their team.

The role –

The Crew Travel Assistant arranges and manages all travel and related requirements to successfully and efficiently complete a crew change without causing any delay or inconvenience to the vessel

In this role, you will be required to –

v  Monitor crew changes

v  Coordinate proactively and closely with crewing managers, port agents, Master and other stakeholders regarding crew change arrangements

v  Organize all travel and related arrangements to complete a crew change

v  Assist in ticketing requests from clients as required

v  Assist in other administrative tasks as required

To be considered for this role you need to –

v  Hold HKCEE/HKDSE certificate or diploma or certificate from any Tourism or related discipline

v  Have one year working experience (fresh graduate with good attitude will also be considered)

v  Have excellent communication skills, speaking and writing English and Chinese fluently

v  Be amendable to attend to necessary and urgent duties during rest days and holidays

v  Be able to work independently and collaboratively

v  Be motivated and have a high sense of responsibility

v  Be extremely organized and attentive to details

v  Be patient and persistent in a time sensitive environment

It would be advantageous if you –

v  Have some ticketing and/or transport/travel arrangement experience and/or have worked in the Crewing/Marine/Fleet Department of any ship management company

v  Have some/basic knowledge of Amadeus or other GDS systems

v  Are immediately available
