Responsibilities

• Daily communications with buyers & vendors, following through all samples and products from product development to shipment;
• Benchmarking and understand market trends closely and react accordingly;
• Good sense of styling and fitting;
• Monitor vendors performance, develop & initiate corrective actions when required;
• Ensuring an effective merchandising value chain which produces goods in good quality standard and makes constant punctual delivery;
• Perform daily operation ensuring the quality and delivery performance as requirements;
• Able to plan and multitask, work on various projects and with multiple buyers at the same time.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in textile / clothing with min.;
• 8 years relevant experience in woven or knit & Jersey items;
• Ability to work with overseas buyers / factories independently;
• Self-motivate, attention to details and able to work under high pressure;
• Agile and flexible with ability to manage through rapid change;
• Excellent time management, negotiation and problem solving skills;
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills;
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin;
• Less experience will be considered as Assistant Merchandiser or Merchandiser;
• Experience with off-shore production in Bangladesh, Pakistan will be great advantage;
• Proficiency in computer literacy;
• Trip to China/off-shore factories is required;
• Immediate available is preferred.
