Job Description

We are looking for a Programme Manager to lead on the implementation of a sector programme in Hong Kong, managing project resources and overseeing activities to ensure that project objectives are delivered on time, on budget and to the highest level of quality to ensure impact. S/he will support the Head of Arts and Creative Industries and the Director of Programmes and Partnerships to deliver a successful, coherent programme portfolio by ensuring that programme knowledge and data is gathered, recorded and shared effectively.

In this role, you are expected to lead on programme and contract management.  You will be responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of programmes to ensure that learning and impact assessments are being incorporated into continuous improvement, business development and external communications. You will be responsible for financial management and reporting, as well as resources management of the team.  In addition, you will be involved in business development, professional networking and stakeholder relationship management.

Qualification: 

  • Minimum 4 to 5 years of relevant work experience in project or programme management in the development field or government
  • Knowledge and experience of managing a project at all stages of the project life cycle
  • Degree- qualified in an arts or creative related field. Candidates with a Masters degree in an arts or creative related field will be preferred
  • Experience of working on government/donor-funded projects will be preferred
  • Able to work co-operatively and effectively with others to set objectives, solve problems, and make decisions that enhance project effectiveness
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to contribute to the production of project reports and other technical documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English and Cantonese is essential
