RBWM – RBWM COO Office

Hang Seng's Business Services is a team of experienced banking operations professionals who strive for delivering time-to-market, efficient and world-class processing services to customers, corporations, financial institutions and internal units.

Banking Operations, supporting account opening services, including customer due diligence and ongoing account maintenance

Should you join our Business Services, you will focus on delivering excellent services through teaming up with fellow colleagues, business partners and Group Services Centers. You will work closely with our branch staff, relationship managers, product owners and IT teams. You will be developed with skills and mindset for process ownership, quality and risk management, high performance coaching, adaptive operating model and effective cost management.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as RBWM Global Standards Officer (6-month).

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Conduct Customer Due Diligence review on selected customers according to Global Line of Business Procedures
  • Ensure completion of Customer Due Diligence is within the timeline and to timely report progress to business units
  • Assist in the coordination among business units and the Department on key cross-RBWM business initiatives to drive the growth of Business Services
  • Work effectively with respective business units to ensure the progress of the initiatives
  • Prepare management reports, design process workflow and participate in ad hoc projects to explore new migration / streamlining opportunities
  • Ensure Policies, Procedures and Guidance are written, in line with local regulations, HASE and the Group’s guidelines, with regular review and amendment where necessary

 

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience in project management, business planning, or management reporting is preferable
  • Good knowledge of retail banking and wealth management products, with strong business acumen and numerical sense
  • Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Good analytical, problem solving, communication and report writing skills
  • Good knowledge of application software including MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
