Purpose:

Bring FOB Visibility through data analysis and regular communication of FOB movements, trends and impact to the company. Perform analysis on FOB related topics through optimizing data usability and the creation of innovative tools to enable fact based decision making.  This person will play a key role in leading topics related to the data management, tools and system used by the FOB Forecasting & Analysis team in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:

FOB Analysis:

•     Perform analysis on FOB related topics to increase predictability and accuracy of future FOB development and improve visibility on impact to the company
•     Develop a process to manage, measure and track the execution and accuracy of Price Freeze and price changes requests
•     Support in business case development to improve predictability of PPV for TradeCo markets (e.g. new Price Freeze logic)
•     Develop and implement plans to measure and manage the performance and service level of FSS Porto Pricing Team
•     Ad hoc analysis for the Director, FOB Forecasting and Analysis on an as-needed basis

Data Management:

•     Key contributor for the FOB Visibility datacube project working closely with S&P team
•     Own the FOB Visibility datacube upon project completion, for the process, maintenance and enhancement of the tool
•     Support the FOB Forecasting Team on identifying and driving improvement opportunities and plans on the datacube in supporting the strategic and agile business needs
•     Team expert in various sourcing systems and processes (e.g. PDM/PLM/Flex PLM/SAP PEU/SAP GPS/MSTR..) to ensure accuracy and reliability of the FOB Visibility datacube

Cross Functional topics:

•     Implement and manage different levels of FOB Visibility communication packages to all key stakeholders to communicate status, changes, projection and important findings
•     Lead cross functional topics including being the key user for a-live for FOB Forecasting Team and other topics as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•     Strong analytical skills and ability of process thinking, managing significant amount of data from multiple sources, co-relate them and draw valid conclusions with recommendations
•     Excellent skills in MS Excel with knowledge in Macro / VBA / Powerpivot coupled with strong computing skills in utilizing solutions in data management (e.g. BI tools)
•     Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to interact effectively and efficiently on different layers of the organization
•     Can-do attitude, action oriented and solution minded team player
•     Fluent in English (written and spoken)
•     Deep business understanding of sourcing processes and systems
•     Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines through good planning and organizing skills

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

•     University degree in Business Administration/Finance with exposure to Information System/Data Science
•     Minimum 4 years of work experience in related work experience in advance analytics and big data management in a global environment
