The KPMG Insights Centres are seen as the centrepiece driving our ambition. There are 7 Insights Centres around the world and thus, are an integral part of our Global Brand. We have designed the Insights Centre in such way that it brings KPMG business expertise, data and analytics skills together with our clients in a next generation working environment, which leverages the proven techniques of KPMG U-Collaborate to bring to life for our clients how Data and Analytics can be applied to solve their most challenging problems.   

We are looking for a Senior Consultant candidate to join the Insights Centre Team.  

The Insights Centre Team manages the Insights Centre and focuses on ensuring maximum operational efficiency. We work closely with client facing teams at the executive level to support all aspects of client sessions, ranging from session/workshop design and solution demonstration to client engagement and in-session support. Internally, we also aim for continuous improvement to our operating model and grow our technology asset ownership so that operations and technology assets stays aligned and if not ahead of business and market requirements.  

As the Insights Centre Senior Consultant, you will be key to driving the growth of the Insights Centre. Your key responsibilities will be liaising closely with the client facing business to support client sessions and managing the operations of the Insights Centre.   

Additional responsibilities include  

- Collaborate with Data and Analytics leadership and staff to design and build demonstrations of specific solutions, work together with KPMG partners to craft client workshops, and facilitate the client workshops that takes place within the centre 
- Collaborate with KPMG partners to plan the layout and agenda of the session/workshops and clarify outcomes that the client is hoping to achieve 
- Demonstrate data and analytics solutions and technology functionalities of Insights Centre  
- Guide customers through the use of the Insight Centre facility and the features available; offer a good understanding of the entire portfolio of in-house D&A solutions and third-party vendor solutions 
- Understand the possibilities of modern data analytics and technology and help clients build a vision as to how to draw real value from findings 
- Promote the Insights Centre internally and externally 

An ideal candidate should meet the following requirements   

Essential   

- Minimum of 3 years' of experience in designing and delivering collaborative sessions with clients, including experience facilitating sessions for senior leaders and C-level clients  
- Ability to work within a matrix’d partnership environment, ability to manage and motivate individuals outside of direct reporting lines as well as strong teaming and networking skills  
- Ambition to develop a career in the data and analytics space   
- Strong organizational skills; able to lead multiple projects, stakeholders and team members concurrently; effectively manage stakeholder expectations and reporting prior, during and post sessions 
- Driven and enthusiastic with a 'can-do' attitude and a strong sense of ownership to get the job done in a practical and pragmatic fashion   
- Capability to manage multiple tasks / conflicting priorities and work under pressure in a fast moving working environment    

Preferred   

- Previous working experience with exposure to Data & Analytics and broad knowledge of end to end data and analytics lifecycle   
- Hands-on experience and understanding of business applications for one or more analytics / data visualisation tools, e.g. Qlikview, QlikSense, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS, R, Python 
- Strong interpersonal skills and possess the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders   
- Fluency in written and oral English is mandatory. Cantonese / Mandarin is a plus
