GroupM Hong Kong is looking for an Accounting Officer (Account Receivable) with experience to handle billing and AR functions of the media agency and the shared-services functions of the group.


Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Senior Accountant

Measures of success –

In three months:

• You will be familiarize with GroupM, Agency and the Finance Structure

In six months:

• You will be able to work independently to support the group’s finance and accounting functions

In 12 months:

• You will be able to contribute to the group and the department’s success

Responsibilities of the role:

•    Handling billing operations, accounts receivables with diversified MNC/local clients
•    Prepare invoicing & cost reconciliations
•    Ensure all billing and revenue transactions are recorded properly, accurately, timely, and   in compliance with SOX and client requirements   
•    Liaise with vendors and internal departments to facilitate daily accounting operation
•    Reconcile bank statement
•    Perform ad-hoc assignments as required

What you will need:

• Diploma or Degree holder in Accounting or other related discipline
• 3-4 year or above experience in accounting
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting systems
• Good communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Able to work under pressure and deadline, mature, independent and self-motivated
• Immediately available is preferable
