Key Purpose

The assistant accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure a smooth accounting operations in the Finance Department for the Quality and Trading business units.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounting daily operations
• Handling daily accounting tasks, including general accounting entries and ledgers, month-end closing, preparation of schedules and accounts reconciliation.
• Preparing and arranging payments to external parties
• Collaborating with global colleagues for month-end closing activities.
• Preparing monthly reports with commentaries and support schedules. Assist for budgeting and year-ended audit.
• Prepare SAP Inter-Company Reconciliation and other reports.

We looking for candidates with the following skills and experience

• Higher Diploma in Accounting or above and with 3 year relevant working experience.
• Responsible, organised, detail-minded person that can able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines. 
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn new things, think outside the box and take on challenges
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese - Mandarin is an advantage.
• Experience in accounting software - Navision and SAP.
