A new position is now available in the Accounting Team in Hong Kong. We are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant who will work together with 5 team members in our Retail organization.

As the Assistant Accountant for H&M Retail you will be dealing with a broad spectrum of accounting activities, from Accounts Receivable and Payable to General Ledger (sales reconciliation, credit card management, etc.), to handling expenses claims, to bank reconciliations and inter-company recharges. You will also support on the financial closing and month-end reconciliations and schedules!

It seems like a lot, right? Well, no need to panic. The role is broad as we believe the team should be able to support each other in case someone is away, so you won’t have sole responsibility over all these topics! In this position, you will be in a team with 4 other people; a fellow Assistant Accountant, two Accountants and one Accounting Manager (to whom you report to)

We believe that a couple of years of experience could work well for the Assistant Accountant role but we would consider some brilliant fresh graduates with a degree in Accounting or Finance.
