Job Description

Division : Corporate Services  

Responsible to : Head of Corporate Services Division

Job Scope :    

  1. To handle the full range of human resources functions within the policy framework of the company;
  2. To assist in implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the over service strategy;
  3. To maintain a comprehensive set of human resources policies and guidelines;
  4. To upkeep the compliance on HR related Ordinances and provide compliance training to all staff;

Main Job Responsibilities :

  1. To manage compensation, benefits, medical, dental, insurance administration, employee relations and recruitment;
  2. To manage and execute full set of hiring process including advertisements posting, screening, arranging interviews, work visa applications and induction programmes mainly for post of Manager grade and above;
  3. To manage the HR Management System and analyze reports;
  4. To manage the Payroll Administration;
  5. To review and make recommendations to senior management for improvement to HR policies, procedures and practices;
  6. To comply with related HR Ordinances;
  7. To assist in conducting HR review and needs assessment of current processes, gathering data to assess needs, and make recommendations based on HR best practices, overall operation efficiency and risk reduction;
  8. To facilitate and develop a training and development programme for all staff on both professional development and compliance;
  9. To carry out performance appraisals;
  10. To manage and monitor HR budget;
  11. To liaise with the Board and its committees for meetings and events;
  12. To handle HR projects;
  13. To participate in organisation functions and activities;
  14. To handle general enquiries from the public relating to the education services and recruitment of the Academy;
  15. To supervise teammates to complete the above duties effectively; and
  16. To handle ad-hoc assignments as assigned;

Essential Requirements :    

  • A Hong Kong degree of Human Resources or equivalent with at least eight years working experience in Human Resources and administrative work;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in Chinese and English, ability to speak Putonghua will be preferred;
  • Conflict resolution skills to both initiate and mediate workplace conflicts;
  • Demonstration of a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and fairness; Experience in logistic arrangements for staging an event/activity;
  • Experience of dealing with telephone calls of a sensitive nature;
  • Knowledge of computers and information systems on HR Management System;
  • Good proficiency in using a variety of ICT packages (MS Office Applications);
  • Meticulous, detailed, well-organised and able to work independently to meet datelines.

Terms of Appointment :

The successful candidates will be appointed on permanent term after the probationary period. The Academy offers a competitive salary for good candidates. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental insurance.
