Rank        : Executive Officer I

Office       : Human Resources Division, Hong Kong East Cluster

Pay          : HK$57,934 - HK$72,896 (HMPS Pt 3 – Pt 8) per month including Monthly Allowance

Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Cluster General Manager (Human Resources) or one of the Senior Human Resources Managers, the Human Resources Manager will lead one of the Teams in the Human Resources Division, oversee the day-to-day operations in one or more HR functional areas, develop and implement HR initiatives and projects in line with the direction of the Cluster and the Hospital Authority. 

Entry Requirements: 

  1. A university degree or equivalent.
  2. At least 2 years’ post-qualification managerial experience in Human Resources at junior management level (i.e. Executive Officer II or equivalent level).

Preferred Attributes: 

  1. Good knowledge in employment-related legislations and human resources policies and practices.
  2. Hands-on experience in one or more human resources functions, in particular remuneration & benefit and / or recruitment & appointment functions.
  3. Good interpersonal, motivational and influencing skills.
  4. Good observation and strong analytical skills.
  5. Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese.
  6. Flexibility and creativity, without abandoning values and principles.
  7. A positive and proactive mindset.
  8. A caring heart for staff. 

 

Remarks: 

  1. Selected candidate will be offered contract term appointment for up to 3 years. Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as contract-end gratuity may be offered upon completion of contract with satisfactory performance.
  2. The renewal / extension of appointment will be subject to service needs, availability of funding and job performance.
  3. May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
