Job Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the effects of the wider economic & market environment on various asset classes (e.g. equities, fixed income, commodities, FX and etc.) and investment strategies;
• Assist the team to build its medium- to long-term multi-asset investment views by multiple regression models or other forecasting models;
• Provide tactical allocation models with back-tested strategies;
• Execute switching instructions of investment options for portfolio managers;
• Follow up relevant cases should errors occur;
• Prepare factsheets and performance presentation materials;
• Provide administrative support to EAM & Investments team, such as addressing clients’ queries and facilitating account opening.

Requirement

• Degree or above. Major in Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics & Statistics, Risk Management, Quantitative Finance or related disciplines
  
• CFA/FRM candidate is a plus
• Preferably have experience in R/Python/VBA, candidates without basic knowledge in programming will not be considered
• Demonstrated solid passion and knowledge in economics and financial markets
• Knowledge of investment database systems such as Bloomberg, Factset, Wind etc. preferred
• Be able to work at least 20 hours per week
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and is a good team player
• Proactive in following up tasks and able to work independently
