Job Responsibilities:

• Perform reception, handling, processing, storage of cord blood sample, and testing of human blood according to laboratory Standard Operation Procedures
• Handle and accurate recording laboratory data
• Perform quality control and external proficiency testing
• Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Participate in-house and external training as required
• Undertake other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Valid Part II registration of Medical Laboratory Technologist issued by the HKMLT Board
• Bachelor Degree or Higher Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences, Biological Science or Life Science related disciplines
• Strong sense of teamwork and able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Experience in processing of cord blood or performing laboratory testing would be an advantage
• Experience in phlebotomy would be an advantage
