Job Responsibilities: 

• Prepare shop drawings, fabrication drawings and sketches to facilitate the smooth running of projects and formal submission;
• Perform and check the material take-off for material ordering;
• Prepare and keep well all necessary paper work to assure smooth running of projects;
• Attend meetings with contractors, architects, Building Department officers and other consultants;
• Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to assure smooth running of projects;
• Coordinate with site employees, fabricators and installers to facilitate the process of fabrication and installation work;
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors relating to design aspects;
• Review project specifications to ensure all design related work compiling with project requirements;
• Ensure design concept is complied with reviewed budget;
• Advise Estimators and Quantity Surveyors on preliminary design and the section profile for their estimation;
• Assist Estimators and Quantity Surveyors for taking off materials in accordance with architectural drawings and technical specification; and
  
• Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements: 

• Degree / Higher diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering or Building Studies or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years solid experience in façade curtain wall field, in which 3 years in project design work management.
  
• Strong technical knowledge for project design and product development.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and skillful in related PC operations including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Fluent in both spoken and written Chinese and English, including Putonghua.
• Initiative, self-motivated, well-organized, detail-minded, creative, independent, responsible, strong communication and leadership skills, able to work under pressure and meet deadline.
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Assistant Design Manager.
