Responsibilities :

• Supervise project’s Commercial team and assists the Project Manager/Director in defining contractual strategy
• Defends the company’s rights within the framework of the contract and ensures the project is in compliance with commercial procedures and values of the company
• Provides proactive expertise advices on all proposed scope changes and recommends mitigating action on commercial risks
• Responsible for drawing up claims, commercial correspondence, final account settlement, etc.
• Any other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Qualification :

• Holder of Degree in QS/Building or a Chartered Surveyor (RICS/HKIS).
• At least 10 years relevant construction experience and with proven track record of minimum 5 years at the position of Commercial/Contract Manager for a major contractor.
• Solid experience in contract administration, claims preparation, with commercial and legal/ arbitration knowledge, familiar with various forms of conditions of contracts (HK Govt/MTRC/Private), cost control, planning and strategic management
• Knowledge in using  Cost Management tools is preferred.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is an advantage).
