Responsibilities:

• Conduct the market research to find out the market needs of mechanical/automotive products
• Support the product design cycle, i.e. namely, customer requirements collection, product planning, designing, CAE, prototyping, trial run and certification
• Define product specification and test plan for product testing
• Analyze and design developing prototyping and test dynamic mechanical products such as gear products
• Solve engineering problems from design to prototyping and to final launch of products to market
• Be responsible for training engineers in the company group to make, improve and sell the product
• Maintain and exhance the product and manufacturing process know-how within the company group as well as update the Company the market demand on new or existing products
• Manage product development projects in the areas of dynamic mechanical modules design and manufacturing processes development as well as robotics applications.
• Innovate, modify and propose new product designs to the company group
• Promote and market R&D products to both internal and external customers of the company group

Requirements:

• Master Degree or PhD degree or equivalent discipline in Aeronautical, Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
• At least 3-6 years of relevant experience in gear design and manufacturing, i.e. self driving car project, material processing or engineering product design
• Good Computer skill with CAD and Analysis systems such as Solidworks, MathLAB and FEA will be essential.
• Excellent project management (i.e.resources or time management) skills 
• Good communication skills with technical competence is required
• Experience in applying Electronics to Design will be an advantage
• Always carry optimistic thinking to lead and motivate the team in good team spirit
