Job Description

Given the fast expansion in the Asian market, and particularly the exciting retail opportunities in Hong Kong, BWEAR, LTD. is now looking for a Brand Director based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities
- be the leader of the expansion for the company in Asia. He/she will report directly to the CEO of the company;

- develops effective business strategies for the brand, related to the sales channels in Global market (Mainly in HK, Asia, Russia);

- particularly coordinates with the designers & partner in Moscow, to ensure adherence to global brand positioning

- Oversees production and operations of the BWET brand entirely;

- Creates and develops integrated consumer & customer activation programs for the brand, in cooperation with sponsorship opportunities. It is critical that the incumbent executes the technical designs, production supervision & installation of such activation programs him/herself to optimize both the alignment with the global branding strategy as well as the expansion marketing budget available;

- Once the business size allows, will hire & lead the commercial and marketing team for BWEAR in Hong Kong;

Additional responsibilities:

- Analyzes channel insights, market insights and program/product performance; presents findings & influences future programming, development of brand plans and channel strategies;

- Contributes to the development of all brand marketing strategies and planning;

- Manages an external team to deliver high quality marketing content;

- Leads and directs the product launch management & business coordination in HK, Asia, Russia, USA, EU;

- Provides brand development training to the both local part-time / employee / freelancer;

- Links the consumer activation programs to Hong Kong in-store activation;

Requirements:
Key requirements:
-
Substantial (5 years+) experience in brand building, marketing, management and training preferably gained in the fashion industry (Swimwear industry is a plus);

- Proven record of designing and executing a branding strategy for Russia, Asian market (Design and execute branding strategy and plans);

- experience in developing a regional brand strategy, aligned with a global brand positioning. Ideally experience with the Russian market context

- technical expertise (preferably technical engineering) to draft, supervise execution of production of customer activation installations (eg large shower complexes at events, booth expansion, …);

- identify & lead commercial & marketing talent;

Additional requirements:
- A degree holder (masters or equivalent) is a must;

- Experience from US / Russia / Asian market is a plus; 

- Fluent in English required & fluent in Russian is a plus; 

- be Innovative & creative; knows Market and business trends;

- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
